The holiday season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than with a white Christmas in the beautiful Park City! There is no shortage of magical and fun holiday celebrations to partake in this season, so be sure to check out everything that Park City has to offer on your next visit.

All aboard the North Pole Express at Heber Valley Railroad! This holiday train ride is 90 minutes and all passengers get hot cocoa, cookies, a souvenir ticket, and a special gift from Santa. You can also experience live entertainment all along the route and during this magical train ride. This train ride runs from November 23rd through December 23rd, don’t wait and book your spot today.

Take a Snow Globe Stroll through Main Street featuring seven life-size snow globes. Each snow globe is themed around different holiday songs to get you in the holiday spirit and spread Christmas cheer. Songs will include classics like “Frosty the Snowman,” “Let It Snow!,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” and more. Visitors can enjoy the festive Historic Park City holiday decorations such as the Main Street Christmas Tree and Santa’s mailbox. Park City also hosts a Holiday Spectacular Sing-a-long! This show is one of Park City’s most beloved family holiday traditions. Featuring local performers, this sing-along show is the perfect way to spread holiday cheer with the entire family. Starting December 8th through December 17th, visitors can enjoy this festive show. Advanced tickets are recommended and available from the Egyptian Theater, don’t wait and get yours today.

On December 17th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, visitors can experience one of Park City’s famous events…Santa’s annual ride down the Town Lift! Riding in his lit up sleigh, this holiday spectacular is perfect for the whole family to enjoy. The little ones will especially love seeing Santa ride down the lift in his sleigh, and afterwards the family can enjoy a stroll through Downtown Park City to check out all the amazing holiday light displays.

Enjoy an amazing Mountain Torchlight Parade at Park City Mountain Resort. This 57th annual torchlight parade is scheduled to take place on December 24th at dusk. Featuring the Park City Staff skiing down the mountain in formation with giant flares to light up the mountain this is another fun and magical event that is perfect for the whole family.

Ring in the New Year at Park City Mountain with a festive holiday celebration. On December 31st starting at 3pm, visitors can enjoy live music, fireworks, sweet treats and more. Located at Canyons Village, you can enjoy a day on the slopes and then ring in the New Year with live music followed by fireworks at 7:30pm. This event is free and open to the public!
