Check out more information on this below!

A couple take float in tubes down the river during the summer.

When you think of tubing down the river, you might picture floating on a lazy river type situation. Well this is not it! Weber River Tubing is whitewater tubing at its best. For those thrill-seekers and adventurers, this one’s for you! You can tube with a guide for a 3 hour excursion along the rapids and fun boulder sections. Groups can range anywhere from 2 people to a larger group of family, friends, parties of up to 50 people.

Since this experience requires good swimmers and strong paddling, only kids 12 or older are allowed. They also recommend guests have experience with whitewater tubing, but it’s not required. Strong currents may occur while also paddling to avoid rocks, tree branches and other obstacles. If there are some people in your group who may want to take it easy and not be up for a challenge, then they do have the option to go in a raft with the professional guide.

Tubing on your own with a guide present, starts at $45. Tube and life jacket rentals are also available starting at $10. Like we mentioned, there is also rafting with a guide available for your group. The half-day excursion is most popular, lasting about 2 hours, and starts at $49. They do offer a full day rafting trip which lasts 6 hours and starts at $115. Check out all the information on their website here.

If you are looking for a more laid-back, lazy river type excursion then check out the Provo River! Tube down in one of their custom-made, heavy duty river tubes. There are also double tubes available if you feel like partnering up. During July and August, they have a shuttle that leaves on the hour from 10am to 4pm, and every 30 minutes on the weekends. The average float time is about 2 hours, and only allows kids 12 or older. However, they would allow kids 8 or older to be on a double tube with a strong swimming partner with them. So be sure to plan your trip accordingly with your group. Prices for a single tube start at $33 and $66 for a double tube. You can book online and check out their website here.
